About Me
My name is Ethen Rose and I'm a blacksmith from southeast Oklahoma. From an early age I have always loved making things, and blacksmithing was where that journey led me. I started armed with some old hammer heads that I had to re-handle, a seized up rivet forge, and a family heirloom anvil, all given to me by my uncle. I quickly fell in love with the craft and began consuming all the knowledge I could from online, but knew that it was no substitute for a real teacher. I came across Brian and Ed Brazeal and instantly knew there was something about the way they worked that was special. I was shocked to discover that they were located only a few hours away from me, and quickly contacted them to set up a three day class. Now many years later, though I've made many along the way, they remain my most influential friends and mentors. I’m ecstatic to share my work and love for this craft!
